It’s important to keep your wicks trimmed to ¼ inch to maximize the burn hours and to prevent any soot from developing from too large of a flame.
As people become more environmentally conscious, using soy is a good step to take. They are made from an easily renewable resource and you help support our farmers in the USA each time you purchase one.
Another benefit with soy candles is that your glass jars can be cleaned out with hot soapy water and re-used for another purpose. Better yet – find a candle maker that will pour another candle for you in the same jar!
The way I see it, there just are no down-sides to burning soy candles. They hold fragrance well and are an excellent choice for gift giving to the special people in your life. A soy candle is a timeless gift that anyone is sure to love!
